Full Match Highlights

Composite analytics now keep your match in one seamless timeline. The Full Match Highlight reel uses that composite session to clip goals, shots on target, saves, tackles, set pieces, and coach-tagged tactics across every uploaded angle.

Generate from Match Summary

1. Open your match and scroll to the Highlights section.
2. Click View Full Highlights (or Generate Full Highlights if none exist yet).
3. Confirm the modal and we’ll enqueue a single background job. While it runs, the button is disabled and you’ll see “Highlight is generating…” in the card.

Heads-up: If some videos aren’t annotated yet, a yellow banner will remind you that the reel might be incomplete. Finish tagging the remaining clips and regenerate when you’re ready.

Regenerate or Retry

• Completed reels show Play and Regenerate actions. Regenerating deletes the previous asset and replaces it with a fresh composite reel.
• Failed jobs surface an error with a Retry button. The UI won’t kick off another job while one is already running, so you never end up with dueling renders.

Where the Reel Appears

• Match Summary: Primary CTA and the event list live here.
• Recent Matches: The overflow action now says View Highlights and jumps straight to the composite reel.
• Library: The reel is saved as media titled “Full Match Highlights (composite)” inside the match folder, so you can download or delete it like any other video.
• Player Experience: Players and guardians see the same composite reel in their Highlights tab—no more “Which half is this?” conversations.

Permissions & Roles

• Coaches and admins can generate, regenerate, or delete the full-match reel.
• Players and guardians can only watch it.
• If composite analytics are still processing, the CTA stays disabled until the merge finishes.
