Help/📈 Reports & Insights/Player Performance Reports

Build player or team reports, add notes, and explain deltas with confidence.

Player Performance Reports

Build structured player reports that combine stats, clips, and coach commentary.

Player Performance Reports

Player report layout

Player Performance Reports translate session data into a narrative players and guardians can understand. Each report is built from sections—Overview, Key Moments, Metrics, Notes—that you can reorder or duplicate.

When a guardian is linked to a player, the report header shows that player’s full name next to the workspace label (“Team” or “My Uploads”). The same header carries into PDF/HTML exports so it is always clear whose data is being reviewed and which workspace it came from.

Start a Report

  1. Open Reports → New Player Report.
  2. Select the match or analytics session you want to summarize.
  3. Choose the player focus and timeframe (single match, tournament block, or rolling 30 days).

Build Sections

  • Overview: Auto-populated with match metadata and high-level stats (minutes played, involvement rate).
  • Highlights: Drag bookmarked clips or search for tags to populate the carousel.
  • Metrics: Pick any tracked stat (xG chain, pass completion, pressing efficiency) and add coach context per metric.
  • Action Plan: Create a checklist of goals for the next session so follow-up feels concrete.

Guardian Views & Filters

Team Workspace (Read-only)

  • The Reports page auto-selects the guardian’s linked player and disables the player dropdown, so you can’t accidentally browse other athletes.
  • Only the Player Performance tab is visible; team comparison charts and “Compare to Team/Season” switches stay hidden.
  • Available filters: Match, Season (optional), and Date Range. All analytics and coach notes are read-only snapshots coming from the team workspace.

Personal Workspace (Editable)

  • Switch to your personal workspace to see only the sessions you uploaded or tracked personally; filters narrow to Video, Date Range, and optional Tags.
  • You can upload new footage, trigger analytics, and annotate clips—everything is scoped to the same linked player, so there is no player selector.
  • Headers and exports display “My Uploads” to distinguish your edits from the official team copy.

Coaches, analysts, and admins retain the full comparison toolkit across all players; the simplified workflow applies only when the signed-in user is a guardian or player viewing their own workspace.

Publishing & Sharing

  • Use Preview to see the exact layout players will receive.
  • Export as PDF for printing during film review, or send a secure link that updates if you edit later.
  • Track whether the player opened the report via the activity feed.

Set a cadence (weekly, monthly) and keep reports concise so players engage consistently.
