Everything you need to prepare media, monitor storage, and link files to matches.
Linking Videos to Matches
Connect uploaded files to scheduled fixtures so analytics, tagging, and reports stay aligned.
Linking Videos to Matches
When every upload is linked to the correct fixture you unlock timeline comparisons, cumulative deltas, and automated report drafts. Linking happens during upload, but you can adjust it afterward from the Library or the Match Hub.
During Upload
- After selecting your file, choose an existing fixture from the Match dropdown, or click Create New Match.
- Enter opponent, competition, kickoff time, venue, and squad. These details sync instantly to analytics and reports.
- Assign periods (Full Match, 1st Half, 2nd Half, Extras) to build multi-angle or multi-file matches.
Post-Upload Linking
- Open the video in the Library.
- Click Match Association → Edit.
- Search by opponent or date, then confirm the correct fixture.
- If multiple files belong to the same match (e.g., wide angle plus broadcast), link them all so analysts can toggle between sources.
Why Linking Matters
- Analytics Sessions inherit match metadata, so stats align with reports without manual copy/paste.
- Reports pull opponent, scoreline, and roster context automatically when a video is linked.
- Search works better—type “vs Solar SC” and every related match appears, including linked clips and annotations.
Schedule owners should audit links weekly so nothing drifts out of sync during busy tournament periods.
