Adhering to consistent encoding settings keeps uploads fast and analytics accurate. These guidelines balance quality with file size so clubs of any size can participate.

Recommended Settings

  • Container: MP4
  • Codec: H.264 (High profile)
  • Resolution: 1920ร—1080 (accepts 720pโ€“4K)
  • Frame Rate: Constant 30 fps (25 fps for European leagues)
  • Bitrate: 10โ€“16 Mbps for full matches; 6โ€“8 Mbps for highlights
  • Audio: AAC 128 kbps stereo (optional but helpful for sideline context)

Preparing Files

  • Trim halftime breaks or dead time to reduce size before uploading.
  • Normalize audio levels to avoid clipping when players watch with headphones.
  • If filming with multiple cameras, keep timestamps aligned by starting recordings simultaneously.

Testing Quality

  • Use the preview player to confirm playback smoothness before sharing widely.
  • If proxies look blurry, double-check your source bitrate and ensure scaling is set to โ€œFitโ€ in the player.

Following these specs ensures AI tagging stays in sync and output reports look sharp on any device.
